ROLE OVERVIEW 

The Project Lead / Business Development Manager will drive school partnerships, community  engagement campaigns, parent awareness initiatives, sponsorship acquisition, and education-focused activations that support the growth of eSchool Manager across Uganda. This is a field-intensive, relationship-driven role for a strategic and execution-focused professional who understands Uganda's education ecosystem. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Coordinate and oversee implementation activities for the eSchool Manager project. 
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and activity reports. 
  • Ensure timely execution of project deliverables. 
  • Business Development 
  • Identify and onboard schools onto the platform. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators and institutional partners. 
  • Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement 
  • Serve as the main contact person between Vibrica and partner institutions. 
  • Organize meetings, presentations, and stakeholder engagements. 
  • Prepare partnership proposals and reports. 
  • Monitoring & Reporting 
  • Track project performance indicators and prepare regular progress reports. 
  • Recommend strategies for growth and improvement. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

Required Qualifications 

                          • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Education, or a related field 
                          • Minimum 2 years' experience in partnerships, community engagement, activations, marketing, education outreach, NGO programmes, or business development Preferred Experience 
                          • Experience working with schools, youth programmes, or education institutions 
                          • Strong understanding of Uganda's education sector and its key stakeholders 
                          • Experience coordinating events, campaigns, or field activations 
                          • Existing professional networks within Uganda's education ecosystem (an added advantage)

                          • Highly organized with strong execution capability 
                          • Strong presentation and negotiation skills 
                          • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities 
                          • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & digital tools 
                          • Ability to work independently and meet targets
